Solidified holiday travel plans so I spent a decent amount on travel in August. I also purchased an Alaska Airlines gift card from Costco, which also contributed to the high travel spend. Regarding entertainment spending, there were some events we went to in August and also bought tickets for some events in September. 2023 has been a big entertainment year for us as we’ve attended a lot of concerts, which has been fun.

September 2023 Budget: $4,895

Mortgage: 57%

Groceries: 10%

Shopping: 2%

Dining Out: 10%

Health: 6%

I upped my gift budget since need to buy some gifts when I visit friends in an upcoming trip in October. I also increased my health budget as I want to try classes at a local yoga studio. Already did some shopping in September as I’m taking advantage of Labor Day sales to replace items that are worn out. Not traveling in September so overall hoping spending will be low.
