Overall happy with my spending in March. I bought some clothes end of February, and after trying them on when it arrived in March, I ended up returning most of the items. As I’m getting older, I have stronger preferences especially when it comes to practical items like shoes. Eating out has been comparable to previous months as well as grocery shopping. We’ve been cooking a lot at home which has been great. I bought flights for a wedding this summer but they were reimbursed due to travel credit. This month was big on entertainment as we bought some concert tickets and also went to the movies.

April 2024 Budget: $5,695

Mortgage: 49%
Groceries: 5%
Shopping: 1%
Dining Out: 14%
Health: 4%
Transportation: 1%
Work: 0%

April is going to be an expensive month as we have a big trip planned and my credit card annual fee is due. I’m excited for the trip as I’m ready for a vacation.
