Changed my accounting for November so it’s more accurate. Previously, I only tracked what I charged on my credit card and Venmo. However, now and moving forward I’m splitting the charges in half and also tracking what my boyfriend charges. This will more accurately track what I spend. I broke my no shopping for clothes and skincare due to the Black Friday sales. Whenever I visit my parents, the Marshalls has an amazing selection of Korean skincare on sale, so it’s better to wait to buy skincare when I go home vs buy online. Moving forward, I’ll stick to buying skincare when I visit family unless there is a specific product I want to try and can purchase online. This year, I started replacing my undergarments as what I’ve had is old and wearing out. I initially was planning on resuming replacing my bras next year but Organic Basics was having a sale and I’ve been meaning to try their bras.

December 2023 Budget: $4,695

Mortgage: 60%

Groceries: 9%

Shopping: 2%

Dining Out: 11%

Health: 4%

Transportation: 1%

Work: 0%

No large expenses planned for December. Since we will be traveling again for the holidays, I anticipate we will be eating out less when we are home. Also this trip will be mostly spending time with family, so probably eating at home a lot and only occasionally eating out. Hoping to end 2023 with lower spending relative to most months.
